Success Stories

When I first came in to Meridian Family Chiropractic, I had the worst low back and neck pain that kept me from enjoying life. Now after four weeks I am pain free and loving it! I would recommend Drs. Smith & Bubela to all of my friends and family.

Upon arriving at Dr. Smith’s office my leg was very much in pain. After diagnosing my problem, which turned out to be sciatica, she was able to start treatment at her office. After several visits and adjustments – my leg pain started to diminish. Now after a few months of treatment, my pain is almost gone. I am so happy with my results. Thanks to Dr. Smith!

When I came to Dr. Smith, I had upper and low back pain. She educated me about how stretching your muscles is key to getting rid of lower back pain, along with adjustments. Over the weeks, my flexibility improved and back pain decreased. Every week I would look forward to coming in to get adjusted because I would feel so great after leaving! Now that I’m close to the end of my care plan, I rarely ever have back pain. I feel like this experience has taught me new and better ways to live.

I have been under the chiropractic care of Dr. Denise Smith for the past six weeks.  I was very impressed from my first meeting with Dr. Smith at her genuine sense of caring and positive outlook.  I am 46 years old and sought out Dr. Smith for chronic “stiff neck” with associated neck and shoulder pain and lower back pain.  I was aware that I had scoliosis and always assumed there was nothing I could do about my lower back pain.  Dr. Smith put so much effort into explaining my X-Rays and the general state of my neck and spine.  She gave me stretching and strengthening exercise to go along with her in-office care.

After just six weeks I can feel the difference.  I never take Ibuprofen now, which was my only form of relief before I started regular chiropractic care.  I am more flexible and feel so much better now.  The scoliosis had caused my hips to be “uneven” which is the main source of my lower back pain.  My x-rays showed  that after only six weeks my hips went from a difference of 4 mm between them too only 1 mm difference in height.  I was told by a medical doctor years ago that the difference in my hip height was just a fact of scoliosis and there was nothing I could do about it.

Dr. Smith has opened my eyes to the fact that with regular stretching and understanding my muscles and joints function I can live a much more “flexible” pain free life!

Thanks for the August Newsletter-what appropriate timing as my Mom (who is 90) has been disgnosed with an ulcer. She has severe scoliosis and arthritis. Unfortunately when she was a young person-they did not know of any treatment for scoliosis and even growing up as a young and mature adult, chiropractic medicine just was not an acceptable form of treatment-how I wish it had been-she might have been so much more comfortable throughout her life and not have had to take as many meds for her pain which now in turn have produced an ulcer.(she has been severely anemic for quite some time and they didn;t know where she was losing blood-she did not "seem" an ulcer candidate due to her more relaxed state of mind and the fact that she always hated taking much for pain, but over the years, what she needed to take had taken its toll.. She is very sharp mentally, eats a well balanced diet, is a member of a computer club she helped start at the retirement center she lives at.Sure wish she could have experienced the releif that I have in my visits to you. Between your adjustments and treatments in your office and my being diagnosed with alleriges to foods and other things (and getting treated) I have almost no pains in my body anymore.I was able to go off my Voltaren (an NSAID) and have been off for over a year now.
